Japan Samurai is the baseball team that represents Japan in international tournaments. There is a professional team, which plays in the World Cup of Baseball (WCB), and a college team that plays in the Summer College Tournament (SCT).
The professional team is currently ranked 9th in the world. The college team is currently ranked 6th.

Japan Samurai plays in the bi-annual WCB tournament, which consists of 16 teams from four regional groups. They play in Group ??, which includes.

The national college team is managed by Danny Desrochers, the GM of the Montreal Metros.
