This is an old revision of the document!

To celebrate its fourth anniversary, Dead by Daylight is adding Pyramid Head from Konami's Silent Hill franchise to this esteemed pantheon. While the developers have previously incorporated content from Valve's Left 4 Dead in the form of a new Survivor and alternate costumes, this will be the first time an entire Chapter complete with a Killer, Survivor, and map is based on a video game. Before Behaviour's official reveal today, Game Rant sat down with Game Director Mathieu Cote, Creative Director Dave Richard, Best Vee Build Dbd and Head of Public Relations Marie Claude Bernard to talk about what Pyramid Head will offer in service of the Ent

As “The Executioner,” with powers, add-ons, and lore based specifically on his appearance in Silent Hill 2 , Richard said Pyramid Head's unique perks are optimized around stealth and deception. “There are perks that will allow you not to become 'invisible,' but to better surprise the player for their judgment. You'll be able to hide a little better, make them oblivious to your presence, and also lure them to specific places without them knowing you're the

To truly become a master with Deathslinger, players must first practice and develop solid aim. Although, the title does not require first-person shooter accuracy, being able to take pinpoint accurate shots will make your Deathslinger play much more efficient and so

The Nurse gets a lunge when attacking out of Blink which can be great for hitting unsuspecting survivors or those on the run. The Nurse's perks are some of the strongest in the game. While Stridor only makes survivor's groans louder, Nurse's Calling and Thanatophobia are both powerful - one for tracking survivors and one for slowdown. Her Blink stun is a bit hard to get used to, but once a player masters it the power can be quite dea

In the lore of Dead by Daylight , the Entity is an “almighty malevolent being” that captures Survivors and Killers, traps them in Trial Grounds, and forces them to go through endeavors that allows it to feed on their emotions until it can consume the entire world. These “trials” are what play out in-game, as the Survivor characters are tasked with starting generators around the arena to open exits before being sacrificed to the Entity. In order to do so, Killer players must incapacitate their prey, carry them to hooks, and leave them there to be taken. Killer perks exist in service of these goals by facilitating the discovery of Survivors or making it easier to incapacitate them, as all four Survivors must be sacrificed for the Killer to

The Oni's design forces the character to have very slow starts to matches. His primary mechanic focusing around dishing out damage to survivors can be problematic when facing a group of skilled and evasive survivors. This can lead to some rather glacial matches for the Oni if he is unable to successfully initiate his offense. So until an Oni player can start his offense it is important that the player should be diligent and patient when hunting down the surviv

Once the Oni's blood meter is filled fully he gains access to two new special moves. The first move he gains access to is the powerful Demon Strike attack. The Oni will gain access to powerful club melee weapons which increases his damage potential. If allowed to charge up fully, this attack will knock down a survivor in one hit. Even if not fully charged the club will unleash a massive amount of damage to whatever unsuspecting survivor is nearby. This makes the Oni a truly devastating offensive force and makes his aggressive playstyle one not to be taken ligh

Even when the villain shoots a Survivor, his ability to reel that Survivor is not guaranteed. For if a Survivor makes use of their environment or resists the action for long enough, the Deathslinger's chain will break and it will leave the killer stunned and allow the survivor the opportunity to esc

The second move the Oni is given once he increases his blood meter fully is the rapid Demon Dash. This ability grants the Oni the ability to rapidly sprint and cover long distance. So coupled with the devastating Demon Strike this ability turns an already powerful offensively oriented killer into one which is all but avoidable. This ability allows the Oni to very quickly sprint towards opponents and provides a melee attack at the end of the sprint. This melee strikes can also down a survivor in one hit if it's allowed to connect and is a powerful weapon in the Oni's vast arse

Alongside his synergy with the “nurse's calling,” Oni finds ample success with the “barbeque and chili” perk if available to be taught. This allows the Oni to see survivor's auras after hooking a downed survivor. Provided his desire to be up close and causing havoc, this perk allows Oni players an opportunity to scout out and utilize their killer's wide array of streng

The Demogorgon can also activate Of the Abyss which allows it to lunge if attacking as well as revealing survivors who are near activated portals. Surge is the only Demogorgon perk that is really worthwhile as it really helps slow survivors down by regressing generators. Cruel Limits is incredibly situational as it's only useful if chasing a survivor who just finished a generator, and even then it only lasts for 30 seconds at max le
