Epic Games announces that the Fortnite Black Widow Cup kicks off today, continuing the ongoing Marvel Knockout Super Series . This time, the LTM in question will focus on Duos. After scoring enough victories, contenders will have the chance to unlock a stunning Black Widow outfit along with respective Back Bling cosmetics. The limited-time mode can be accessed via the Compete Tab, although there’re several restrictions for participants. Players need to have accounts of at least level 30, and a 2-factor authentication enabled. The final chapter of the Marvel Knockout Super Series will emerge next week, on November 18, with the last Cup dedicated to a mystery hero or villain, after which, the $1 Million Super Cup will become available on November
While the promo image features the current Marvel-themed season , it will be interesting to see when Epic Games chooses to launch this service. Not that the Battle pass is the subscription main draw. If anything, players should subscribe for the skin set and monthly V-Bucks. However, launching this at the beginning of next season would incentivize purchasing this larger bundle over the $9 Battle Pass. Surely, it won't be long before Fortnite officially announces the Monthly Crew Pack along with its price and release d
Leave it to Batman to unlock the secrets of Fortnite's mysterious hatches. In the latest issue of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point , the World's Greatest Detective has managed to confirm the true purpose of the game's three hatches that have been present since 2018, left largely unexplained and impenetrable on Fortnite Island . Now, thanks to this new crossover series, Batman has identified them as the key for him and his new squad to escape the island, seeking to learn the true intent and nature of those who sent them to fight in an endless time-loop of battle roya
Sure enough, Batman proves to be correct. Using a device of his own design, the Dark Knight's new squad gathers enough energy sources from parts of the island they suspect the agents have been in contact with and are responsible for, such as the energy pylons and the massive tower that's currently in the center of Fortnite Island . Once gathered, Batman is able to replicate the same signature and one of the hatches opens, finally revealing what it contains: giant stone golem defenders as well as arsenals and stores of supplies, appearing to be staging grounds for the agents to gear up before entering the island ab
Now, Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #4 reveals that Batman has finally broken out of the loop himself, joining a small band Actionmixhub.Com of popular characters from the game who've broken free as well, including Catwoman and Slade Wilson's Deathstroke . Thankfully, this means that Batman can now talk and remember all of his past battles (though nothing before the island). While all of these warriors are determined to escape the island, it isn't until Batman arrives that he brings their attention to the impenetrable hatches, believing them to be the entry points for the unknown agents controlling the isl
Rewarding players with free cosmetics is a great way to encourage them to complete whatever goal they are tasked with. This has proven effective for several Fortnite events including the crossover with Rocket League , concert with Travis Scott, and Marvel Knockout Super Series. This is also a great way for _Fortnite _ to retain its current player base while drawing in former players who have been away from The Island for a little too l
Fortnite has been graced by several DC superheroes in the past, including an Aquaman and multiple Batman skins. While Chapter 2, Season 6 was previously speculated to be DC-themed (given the Fortnite/Batman: Zero Point comic books which released in April) before being revealed with it's now-retired “Primal” theme, there was no Galactus-esque battle to round out that season. Instead, there have been a few DC skins available to purchase, alongside other DC-themed cosmetics. Now, though, an official Superman Fortnite skin has entered the picture, which may mean more DC heroes could make their way to The Island in future updates, especially now that the Fortnite universe is under threat by an alien thr
As news broadcasters explain the impending doom from the alien invasion, it seems Clark Kent will zoom out of the daily planet, ripping off his suit and turning into Superman. Though Fortnite players haven't gotten to see the two join forces against the aliens in a cinematic (at least, not yet), it’s certainly interesting to see that Superman and Batman are getting along in the game's wide universe of crossovers. It is, however, a bit odd for the character that Superman would be slacking off at his job, but perhaps even Kryptonians need gaming __ bre
However, Fortnite's best deal has yet to come, as a survey from Epic Games has leaked on Twitter, shared by well-known Fortnite leaker FireMonkey . The survey was sent out via email to a handful of players asking different questions regarding a possible subscription service coming to Fortnite in the future. The service seems to be called the “ Monthly Crew Pack ” and includes the current season's Battle Pass, early access to a skin set, and a monthly supply of 1,000 V-Bucks. One of the main questions on the survey is how much players are willing to pay for this service with multiple choice answers ranging from $4.99 to $18
